New Directions for Kids

New Directions for Kids is an occupational therapy and learning resource center serving children from infancy through adolescence, both one-on-one and in groups. The center focuses on young people with developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, auditory processing issues and other learning challenges, working on self-care, school and play skills through climbing, balance activities, textured materials and handwriting practice.

Families are involved closely in the process, with home programs designed for each child and education for parents, caregivers and teachers. The center is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, and asks families to call for a consultation and a visit to the facility. It is located at 191 South Oak Park Blvd. in Grover Beach, with a practice serving the Central Coast.
