Many Hands Thrift

Many Hands Thrift is a thrift market in Grimes built on donated goods, with a Fair Trade corner that sells artisan coffee and handcrafted gifts from makers around the world. Gift cards are also available.

Profits from the stores fund sustainable development work in Haiti and Abaco, Bahamas, and the business partners with local nonprofits through vouchers, gift cards and financial donations. Donations can be dropped off at the store during set weekday and Saturday hours, and furniture pickup is offered in the Des Moines metro area through a request form. The Grimes store is one of five locations, along with Clive, Merle Hay, Indianola and Jordan Creek.
