Lightbrite Coffee Roasters is a coffee roaster and cafe in Grimes, run by husband-and-wife owners Matt and Megan McNeece. The shop serves seasonal lattes and matcha to-go, and it sells its roasted coffee for brewing at home. The roasting is done by hand on a USA-made San Franciscan roaster, with the team adjusting heat, airflow and time for each coffee.
You can order drinks for pickup through the website, and the cafe is open weekday mornings and Saturday until 2 PM, closed Sundays. Gift cards are available, and the baristas are glad to suggest brewing methods. The shop also hosts cupping and educational events from time to time. It is located at SE Grimes Blvd in Grimes, Iowa.
