Imagine Kitchen

Imagine Kitchen is a shared commercial kitchen in Greer that rents space to chefs, bakers and food makers who want to launch or grow a food business without buying their own facility. The kitchen is permitted by the South Carolina Department of Agriculture and is equipped with gas ranges, convection ovens, a large mixer and commercial tabletop food processors and mixers.

Renting on a recurring basis requires an online application, a food safety manager training certificate, proof of insurance and a Department of Agriculture retail or wholesale permit, and the process typically takes two to four weeks for a retail permit. One-time rentals are limited to purposes like photo shoots or cooking classes, with a two-hour minimum. The space can also be rented for teaching small groups of up to 16, filming, or hosting tastings, and it is a good fit for mobile or to-go food concepts.
