Northern Italian cooking with a long downtown history100 North Main Street, Greenville, SC
Ristorante Bergamo is a Northern Italian restaurant that has been a fixture in downtown Greenville for more than 35 years. Chef and owner Gian Pietro Ferro brings 30 years of New York City experience to a menu that includes carpaccio, prosciutto di Parma, porcini fettuccine, linguine with clams, and veal and pork mains. The wine list features Italian bottles chosen by hand.
The restaurant takes dine-in seatings Tuesday through Saturday, and reservations are made through OpenTable. Guests who bring their own bottle pay a corkage fee, and the kitchen asks that bottles matching its own collection be left at home. Bergamo is leaving its North Main Street location after Saturday, September 19, and plans to reopen at 942 South Main Street, with no date announced yet.
