Abyss Greenville

Abyss is a coastal-inspired raw bar and seafood restaurant in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. Oysters are the main draw, with a half dozen or a full dozen available on Mondays, alongside a menu of bold, seafood-forward plates and craft cocktails. Co-owners Anmar Natheer and Geno Iozzino founded the restaurant, and head chef Dom Angelo brings scratch-made cooking from farm-to-table and Italian-Mediterranean kitchens.

Seating is first come, first served at the bar, the raw bar and the patio. Private events can be booked through the restaurant, and gift cards and catering are also offered. Weekend evenings run later than weekdays, so it is a good option for a late dinner or drinks after dark.
