Agaves

Agaves serves Mexican cuisine in a fresh, modernized style, with dishes that draw on traditional recipes from the Oaxaca hometown of chef Nestor, along with a strong focus on flavor and experimentation. The drinks list is a big part of the menu, with house margaritas, a mezcal drink, micheladas, sangria, piña coladas, aguas frescas and a selection of imported and domestic beers and wines by the glass.

The restaurant is on Stockbridge Road in Great Barrington and has a full bar and outside dining. It is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays for the fall and winter season. The team includes many local teens and young adults who have a say in the restaurant's creative direction. Orders can be placed online.
