Maple syrup heritage meets small-batch distilling in Michigan4717 Broadmoor Avenue Southeast, Grand Rapids, MI
Twisted Tap Distillery grew out of a fourth-generation maple syrup tradition and now makes small-batch spirits alongside its maple products. Three brothers run the business, working from a sugarbush near Caledonia and a 700-acre forest in the Upper Peninsula. The spirits are inspired by those woods, and the cocktail menu follows the season, with fall and winter specials currently on offer.
The Kentwood location is open Wednesday through Saturday evenings, with later hours on Fridays and Saturdays. The business also has a Grand Rapids location on Monroe Center Street. Food trucks, live music and other events are listed on its calendar, and weekday mornings also bring coffee service.
