Tattoo & piercing in Grand Rapids

Tattoo and piercing studios help you get permanent body art and piercings done by trained artists in a clean, controlled setting. Many offer custom tattoo design, so you can bring an idea and work out the details with the artist, while others specialize in styles like realism, American traditional, black work, color, or cover ups that turn an old tattoo into something new. Body piercing is another common service. Before you book, look at the artist's portfolio for work in the style you want, since skill varies a lot by style. Ask whether the studio uses single-use needles and autoclaved equipment, and whether it is licensed. Plan to book ahead for popular artists, and consider a consultation first for larger or cover-up pieces.
