The BOB

The B.O.B., short for Big Old Building, is a multi-venue entertainment complex in downtown Grand Rapids. Its 70,000-square-foot brick building was built in 1903 as a grocery warehouse and now holds Bobarino's, BOB's Brewery, TikiTown, Dr. Grin's comedy club, EVE for live music and DJs, and H.O.M.E. Dining and craft beer run through the building, with catering and event rooms available for private gatherings.

The complex is open Tuesday through Saturday, with the weekend running latest, and it is closed Mondays and Sundays. Hours can shift for special events, so calling ahead is a good idea. Parking is mostly metered street parking and city-owned ramps and lots, including the Ottawa Fulton Ramp. The building sits across from Van Andel Arena and next to GLC Live, and gift cards are available for use across the venues.
