SIDEBAR is a speakeasy-style cocktail bar in Grand Rapids, known for classic and modern cocktails on a menu that changes with the seasons. The room is small, with room for about 18 people, so it suits quiet conversation rather than big groups. To find it, walk to 80 Ottawa Ave NW across the hall from Big O's Pizza, head down the small ramp, and look for the red entryway with candy machines; SIDEBAR is the door on the left. Open Monday through Thursday evenings, Friday and Saturday until 2 AM, and Sunday evenings.
