Orthopedic Associates of Michigan

Orthopedic Associates of Michigan runs OAM NOW, a walk-in clinic for sprains, strains, fractures and other muscle and bone injuries. A physician assistant on staff evaluates the injury, starts treatment and lays out a plan of care. The clinic has onsite X-rays and can fit many types of splints and braces.

Patients with an injury from the last 48 hours that keeps them from normal activity can walk in without an appointment, or book online or by phone. Staff can also set up follow-up visits with the group's physicians and therapists. The clinic is not designed for severe injuries and is not open 24 hours, so head or neck injuries, sudden paralysis and other emergencies belong in an emergency room. The clinic is on Leonard Street NE in Grand Rapids, just west of East Beltline.
