Kett's Hearth & Home

Kett's Hearth & Home is a family-owned fireplace showroom that traces its roots to Kett Hardware, established in 1923. It specializes in gas fireplaces, gas inserts, gas logs, glass doors and firescreens, and it also takes on custom fireplace design for new homes, remodels and upgrades. The showroom displays a large set of burning fireplaces with mantels and accessories, drawn from a range of manufacturers.

The staff works with homeowners one on one, and the company handles installation and service for the products it sells. Larry and Kathi Kett are the owners, and Kirk Pflug leads installations and service. Showroom hours change with the season: open Monday through Thursday year-round, with Saturday mornings from September through April, and closed Friday through Sunday in summer. The showroom is at 4222 29th Street SE in the 29th Center, about a quarter mile east of East Paris Avenue.
