Kenowa Hills Early Childhood Center

The Early Childhood Center is part of Kenowa Hills Public Schools and houses several early learning programs. Its Child Care Center offers before- and after-school care for kindergarten through fifth grade, plus all-day child care with educational enrichment for children from six weeks to five years old. Community Education Preschool serves 3- and 4-year-olds with a kindergarten-readiness curriculum, and the center also runs a state-funded Great Start Readiness Preschool classroom for qualifying four-year-olds and provides early childhood special education services.

Child Care runs 6:30 am to 6:00 pm year-round, including school breaks, snow days and vacations. Enrollment is not limited to Kenowa Hills residents, and Community Education Preschool is tuition-based and open to non-district families too. Great Start enrollment is handled through Kent Intermediate School District. The center is at 3971 Richmond Court NW in Grand Rapids, and the site notes the building is currently under construction, so programming may look different for now.
