Taproom with rotating beers, beer hall setting and kitchen235 Cesar E. Chavez Ave, SW Grand Rapids, MI

Founders Brewing Company's Grand Rapids taproom is a laid-back former trucking depot modeled after a German beer hall, with a patio and beer garden. It pours rotating beers that are often only available at the taproom, along with handcrafted sandwiches, smash burgers and appetizers from the kitchen.
The taproom does not take reservations or hold tables, but guests can join the Yelp waitlist app to be texted when a table opens. Seating is first come, first served, and a greeter meets guests on arrival. Animals other than bona fide service dogs are not allowed inside or in the beer garden. There is ample on-site parking in a gated lot between Goodrich and Bartlett, validated with a ticket presented at the bar. The taproom sits steps from downtown hotels, arenas and music venues, and hosts live music, open mic nights and private events in the Centennial Room.
