Vinyl records, unique gifts and community listening sessions1220 Kalamazoo Avenue Southeast, Grand Rapids, MI
Della Soul Records is a vinyl record store in Grand Rapids run by DJ Della Soul, who started collecting records in April 2021 after learning to DJ on vinyl. The shop stocks records across many genres along with unique gifts, and the owner aims to keep vinyl prices affordable and competitive with other record retailers.
The store is meant to be a community hub, with intimate listening sessions featuring local artists. Owner Della Marie Levi opened it to celebrate music, culture, Blackness and vinyl, and she describes it as a quirky, colorful space where people can dig through the crates and find something for everyone.
