Stumpy's Lakeside Grill

Stumpy's Lakeside Grill serves lake food with a twist at the Lake Granbury Marina, and has been a local gathering spot since 2009. The kitchen is known for fish tacos, fried catfish and margaritas, and bottomless chips with homemade fire-roasted salsa come with the meal. The menu also covers build-your-own burgers, po-boys, salads and a kids' menu, plus a dessert spot called the Sweet Shack.

There are no reservations, so seating is first come, first served. Diners can eat inside or at covered picnic tables on the marina dock, and boaters often come in off the water. The marina also rents pontoon and tritoon boats and wet slips. Happy hour runs all day Tuesday and from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The restaurant sits on the Glen Rose Highway, about 1.3 miles south of Highway 377.
