Glover's Floor Coverings

Glover's Floor Coverings is a family-owned flooring store that has sold and installed floors on Gloucester's North Shore since 1948. The shop carries carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, vinyl and ceramic tile, and its own installers fit what the store sells. Over the decades the business has put floors into many homes around Gloucester.

Free estimates are offered, and customers who pick up their materials themselves can get a discount. The showroom is on Whittemore Street in Gloucester, and the store also serves nearby towns including Rockport, Manchester, Essex, Ipswich, Beverly, Salem and Marblehead. Weekday hours run from morning to late afternoon, Saturday hours are shorter and shorter still in July and August, and the store is closed on Sundays.
