Germantown Performing Arts Center

The Grove is the outdoor venue of the Germantown Performing Arts Center, designed as an open-air counterpart to the center's indoor stage. It hosts concerts, theater, dance and orchestral performances on a shaded lawn with a covered 40 by 60 foot stage and a very large high-definition video screen. Some events are ticketed and some are free, and the setting suits both family events and more grownup evenings, with room for about 900 guests.

Tickets are sold online through the center's website or by phone at the box office, which handles seating needs such as accessible and aisle transfer seats. Food trucks are allowed, and picnics are permitted at some events, though coolers and outside food are restricted at others. The venue is a no-smoking, no-vaping space, and pets are not permitted except service animals. Tickets are non-refundable, and rain-postponed shows move tickets to the new date. The Grove is at 1801 Exeter Road in Germantown.
