Phoenix Counseling Center

Phoenix Counseling Center is a behavioral health provider offering crisis services, intensive outpatient treatment, adolescent programs, individual counseling, peer support and medication-assisted treatment. Its services cover screening, evaluation, crisis stabilization, sexual assault services, and both inpatient and outpatient care for mental illness, addictions and developmental disabilities.

The center serves the Gaston, Lincoln and Cleveland County communities through mobile crisis outreach, facility-based crisis centers, and outpatient offices in Gastonia, Lincolnton and Shelby. Its Gastonia outpatient office is at Gaston Memorial Drive, and the organization also runs Gaylain's House of Hope, a halfway house for women. The center is accredited by CARF International.
