CraftWorx Taproom is a self-serve beer bar with 70 taps, plus local cider, wine and house-batched cocktails. Guests pour their own beer at the wall and pay by the ounce, and the kitchen, run by Ghosted Concepts, serves Chicago-style sandwiches, smashed burgers, loaded fries, wings and sundae skillet desserts. Popular picks include the Chicken Shack Sandwich, the Smashworx Burger and the award-winning wings.
The taproom hosts live music on weekends and a weekly schedule that includes big band jazz, game night, line dancing and bingo. There are plenty of TVs for games, free WiFi, and a private event room that holds more than 100 people for parties, fundraisers and meetings. Kids are welcome, and the kids menu is available. Orders are placed at the table through GoTab, and the taproom is at 5615 Wellington Road in Gainesville.
