Banter

Banter is an ear and nose piercing shop that also sells piercing earrings, body jewelry and other jewelry. It has over 50 years of experience in ear piercing and offers two methods. The hand-pressurized device uses a single-use cartridge and suits babies, children and anyone who prefers not to use needles, while the pre-sterilized hollow needle is performed by trained body piercing professionals and works for a wider range of piercings.

Ear piercing is free with the purchase of piercing earrings, and the hollow needle option runs $35 to $60. Cartilage piercings with the device are for ages 13 and up, and hollow needle age limits vary by state. Nose piercing is offered only at select locations. Banter also offers gift cards, financing and a military discount. This Frederick shop is in the Francis Scott Key Mall on Buckeystown Pike.
