Blackbird Health

Blackbird Health provides mental health care for children, teens and young adults, starting at age 2. Its clinicians evaluate and treat ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, OCD and behavioral concerns. Services include psychological and autism evaluations, individual and family therapy, medication management, neuropsychological testing, speech and occupational therapy, and executive function coaching. Parents can also get parent therapy and coaching for their own part in a child's care.

Therapists, child psychiatrists and other specialists work as one team, so testing, therapy and medication are coordinated around the child. Visits can be in person or virtual, and the practice is in network with insurance plans. The Frederick office is one of several locations across Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Northern Virginia, and its spaces include therapy rooms and playrooms.
