3 Rivers Food Co-op

3 Rivers Food Co-op is a member-owned natural grocery in Fort Wayne that started in the early 1970s as a buying club. Its shelves carry natural and organic groceries, with a large bulk section, a Wellness department for personal care, and a deli and cafe that makes its food in-house. The produce is organic, with seasonal local items when available, and the store also carries organic beer and wine.

The co-op sells its products without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, or several other additives, and looks for the USDA Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project seals. Shoppers can buy twice a month from sales fliers and watch for buy-one-get-one deals. The store is at Sherman Boulevard and Spring Street on the north side of town and is open late on weekday evenings.
