Mezzaluna

Mezzaluna is an upscale restaurant in a restored 1917 office and warehouse building just behind the Fargo Theatre. Executive chef and co-owner Joseph Brunner builds seasonal menus with locally sourced ingredients and European techniques, with dishes like smoked fish cakes, burrata, lamb bolognese, Red Lake walleye and filet mignon. The bar pours batched cocktails on tap, a whiskey selection and unique cocktails, alongside a diverse wine list.

Reservations are strongly recommended, and the restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday evenings. Takeout is ordered by calling the restaurant. The three-course prix fixe menu, with or without wine pairings, requires the full table to order it. Seating ranges from booths and banquettes to high-top tables and a mezzanine overlooking the bar. Street parking and a north-side lot are free, and the ramp at Roberts and 2nd Avenue is free after 5 pm and on weekends.
