Tsunami Books

Tsunami Books is an independent, locally owned bookstore in South Eugene that sells new and used books, cards and postcards, vinyl LPs, and a rotating selection of fine art and crafts from local artists. Its shelves hold more than 30,000 titles, with a particular focus on local authors, signed copies, and sci-fi and fantasy. The store has also long been a gathering place, hosting author events, writers' workshops, poetry slams, concerts, and art openings.

The shop is at 2585 Willamette Street, and it's worth calling ahead or stopping by during store hours if you need a specific title, since staff will look on the shelves for you. New titles are usually 10% off list price for in-store pickup when ordered by phone or email, and gift certificates are available in the shop and online. Online orders can also be placed through Bookshop.org and Libro.fm, with Tsunami chosen as the supporting store.
