J-TEA International sells loose-leaf teas sourced directly from Taiwanese family farms, with a focus on oolong, puer, black teas, green teas, scented teas and herbal teas. The shop also carries teaware such as teapots, tea caddies and pitchers, and offers a tea club that ships new teas every month.

The founder spent six years in Taiwan learning tea, and the shop works with fourth-generation tea farmers directly rather than through brokers. Teas can be picked up at the shop on Friendly Street in Eugene, Oregon, usually within 24 hours of ordering, and the rest of the catalog ships online.
