Burlington Bagel Bakery rolls, boils and bakes its bagels in house every day, with flavors from everything and sesame to jalapeño cheddar and cinnamon raisin. Breakfast sandwiches built on those bagels are the morning favorite, and the menu also includes specialty sandwiches, salads and fruit smoothies.
The bagels are made without preservatives, and the kitchen uses local ingredients where it can, with Boar's Head meats and Speeder & Earls coffee on the menu. The Essex Junction shop is one of four locations, with others in South Burlington, downtown Burlington on Church Street and Williston. Orders are taken in person, and phone lines can go unanswered when the counter is busy. Gift cards are sold in store or online.
