Purrista Cat Café

Purrista Cat Café pairs a coffee bar with a lounge where guests can spend time with adoptable cats and kittens. The café serves espresso and specialty drinks along with pastries, using locally sourced coffee and baked goods. Merchandise and gift cards are also available at the counter.

Reservations are suggested for the Cat Lounge, which holds up to 12 people at a time, and a visit fee applies per person. Children 7 and up are welcome in the lounge, and children 7 to 13 need an adult along. Guests remove their shoes in the lounge and bring slippers or socks. No reservation is needed to order in the café, and walk-ins are accepted in the lounge when space allows. The cats come through a partnership with Because You Care, a no-kill rescue, so adoption questions can be asked during a visit on West 8th Street in Erie.
