Little Acorns Learning Center

Little Acorns Learning Center is a licensed childcare center that takes children from six weeks through five years old. Its play-based program uses the HighScope Curriculum, with learning built around hands-on activities and each child's interests. Classrooms are organized into four age groups: Nursery, Sprouts, Saplings and Great Oaks, which prepares children for kindergarten.

The center uses a primary caregiving model, so each child is matched with a consistent teacher and small classroom groups. Entry is by keypad and the facility has security cameras, and teachers are trained in pediatric first aid and CPR. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, and tours can be booked online or by phone. The center is on Zimmerly Road in Erie.
