One Step Physical Therapy

One Step Physical Therapy is a one-on-one physical therapy practice led by Darren Mallinson, a sports and orthopedic physical therapist. The practice focuses on sports rehab, chronic pain, post-surgical and orthopedic problems, and functional movement correction, using hands-on manual therapy and functional movement assessments. It also works with patients who have had stem cell or PRP injections, building rehabilitation programs with regenerative medicine doctors in San Diego.

Each treatment plan begins with a thorough evaluation and a customized recovery strategy that is adjusted as the patient progresses. Patients see the same therapist throughout rather than rotating between clinicians. Darren has practiced in San Diego since 2003 and also treats fibromyalgia, neuralgia and chronic pain. The office is at 345 Santa Fe Dr in Encinitas, and physicians also refer patients to the practice.
