Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course

Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course is a 27-hole, championship-style layout designed by Ken Dye and Jeffrey Brauer and carved out of the Chihuahuan Desert at the foothills of the Franklin Mountains. Undulating greens and rolling hills make finesse and accurate aim important, and the desert penalties punish careless play. Native foliage and desert wildlife line many of the holes. The course has won Best of the Border from the El Paso Times.

Tee times can be booked online, and the club offers annual prepaid, Dunes and Senior Dunes memberships along with golf lessons. Tournaments and outings range from small private groups to large corporate events, and the grounds also host weddings, quinceañera banquets and private parties. A restaurant is on site. The course is in El Paso.
