Blocworks Edmond

Blocworks is a bouldering gym, a style of climbing done without ropes or harnesses, with new climbs set every week. Its two locations, in Edmond and Midtown Oklahoma City, are built for first-time visitors as well as experienced climbers, with problems for all skill levels. Both gyms also offer fitness equipment and co-working space, and the Midtown location has an in-house sub shop.

New visitors can walk in without a reservation, rent climbing shoes, and get a quick safety orientation before their first climb. A day pass costs $18, and a two-week trial for $35 includes all-access to both gyms, shoe rentals, and a beginner climbing class. The gyms have outdoor patios, and the owners are two climbers who run the business themselves.
