Creative Reuse Center of RI

Creative Reuse Center of RI collects extra materials and supplies from individuals and businesses and sells them at affordable prices to educators, artists, kids, and other community members. Shoppers find yarn, fabric, buttons, zippers, paper supplies, frames, paint, ribbons, poster board, leather, cigar boxes, science kits, and collage and leather-art making kits, so the center works well for classroom projects and craft ideas.

The center is open Wednesday through Friday and on weekends, and it is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Cash is preferred for purchases under $10, and cash, credit cards, and checks are accepted. There is a playroom for children, chairs for resting while shopping, and a wheelchair-accessible front door and bathroom. Masks are required during the first and last hour of each shift, and the center provides them. Field trips and large groups should arrange a visit by email in advance, and only service animals are allowed inside.
