Cathay Garden RI

Cathay Garden is a family-run Chinese restaurant that has been serving East Greenwich since 1986. The menu covers the usual Chinese-American standards, including chow mein, chop suey, lo mein, fried rice, egg foo young and sweet and sour dishes, with combination plates built around an egg roll and rice. Its Cathay Garden house specialties and tropical-style Polynesian drinks round out the offerings.

Lunch combination plates are served daily from 11:30 to 3:00 and are a popular value, with enough food for leftovers. Appetizers are generous, many sized for two or more people. The restaurant is in historic downtown East Greenwich at 363 Main Street, and it takes orders online as well as by phone.
