ACR Supply Co.

ACR Supply Co. is a regional wholesaler of HVAC and refrigeration equipment and parts, selling to contractors and other trade customers. Its catalog covers residential and commercial heating and cooling equipment, including Sure Comfort and LG units, along with air filters, controls, refrigerants, copper and PVC fittings, motors, electrical supplies, hand tools and chemicals. The company has grown from a single desk in 1977 into a supplier with more than 15,000 items.

The business is home-based in Durham and runs customer accounts through several sales channels, with online ordering, quick order forms and a credit application for new trade customers. It is a wholesale supplier rather than a retail store, so most buyers are working professionals restocking jobs. ACR also runs ACR Cares, a community program that supports local charitable efforts.
