Dime Store

Dime Store is a scratch-made, chef-driven breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant in downtown Detroit, open since 2014. The kitchen makes most of its food in-house, including fries and hash, biscuits, gravies, jam and corned beef, and the menu rotates with a steady run of chef's specials. Regulars come back for the Duck Bop Hash, a duck confit dish cooked over multiple days, and the Cheesesteak Benny.

The restaurant is open daily from 8am to 3pm and does not take reservations. It is located inside the Chrysler House, the former Dime Building, at 719 Griswold Street in downtown Detroit, and parking validation is available at the Financial District Garage. The owners run the place day to day, and weekday evenings can be booked for private events, with full restaurant buyouts after 4pm.
