Solana Beach Presbyterian Preschool

Solana Beach Presbyterian Preschool is a preschool run by Solana Beach Presbyterian Church, operating since 1964. Its philosophy is to help children grow in a positive way in their awareness of God, themselves, and the world around them, with developmentally appropriate play and hands-on activities at the center of learning. Programs include indoor art, math and reading readiness activities, outdoor play, and language and music through rhymes, singing and storytime, plus a monthly virtues and Bible lessons program. A Spanish bilingual pre-K class teaches Spanish through songs, games and conversation.

Classes are offered for 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds and pre-K, with Tuesday/Thursday, Monday/Wednesday/Friday and five-day schedules depending on age. Children must be potty-trained for pre-K, while 3-year-olds may enroll without full potty training for an added monthly fee. Monthly tuition covers the 8:30 am to noon morning program, with extra hours available before and after. The preschool is at 120 Stevens Avenue in Solana Beach, and the director can be reached by phone.
