Sandy Hill Nursery School

Sandy Hill Nursery School is a nature-inspired, play-based preschool that has taken a child-centered, holistic approach to early education since 1966. Classes meet in bungalows set among coastal desert chaparral, and the school's mission is to give children a nurturing place to explore, grow, and reach their full potential.

The campus covers nearly seven acres of chaparral in the coastal hills of Solana Beach, perched just above the Pacific. Class sizes are small, and families get involved in events both on campus and off. Tours can be booked through the website, and enrollment questions can go to the school by phone.
