North Shore Montessori Schools

North Shore Montessori Schools runs Montessori programs for children from infancy through elementary age, with classes for infants, toddlers, two-year-olds, three- to six-year-olds, and a kindergarten and elementary partnership. The school also offers a summer camp and enrichment classes covering math, reading, science, outdoor education, music, and geography. It has been operating since 1966 and says it is among Illinois' few nationally accredited Montessori schools.

Enrollment is handled by phone, and openings are limited, so families are asked to call to enroll. Prospective families can schedule a tour or take a virtual tour, and applications are accepted for all levels. The school is located at 3140 Riverwoods Road in Riverwoods, Illinois.
