The Steam Plant

The Steam Plant is a historic wedding and event venue in downtown Dayton, housed in a building originally built in the early 1900s as a power-generating plant. The space has soaring ceilings, exposed beams and large windows, and it hosts weddings, corporate events and parties. The Grand Hall holds up to 400 guests, The Boiler Room suits smaller gatherings, and a courtyard and patio with landscaped gardens serve outdoor events.

The venue offers dressing suites, a sound system, a historic bar and a studio loft that is often used for wedding photos and small ceremonies. Packages are offered at several price levels, and tours can be booked through the website. Private parking is available, and the venue is at 617 East 3rd Street.
