RJ Mexican Cuisine

RJ Mexican Cuisine serves imaginative Mexico-Texas dishes built on traditional Mexican technique, with fresh ingredients and a menu that ranges from tilapia and steak quesadillas to chicken enchiladas, beef tacos and chicken fajitas. Handcrafted margaritas and cold beer are a big part of the draw, and weekday happy hour features $5 margaritas. Owners Jay Khan and Chef Ron Von Hattan opened the restaurant in 2004 after years working together at Landry's.

The weekday lunch specials change each day, and the kitchen takes reservations up to one month ahead for parties of up to ten. A private room seats up to 30 for rehearsal dinners, corporate events and other gatherings, and the team also caters events downtown. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, with outdoor seating, and the restaurant is on North Market Street in Dallas.
