Private-Dog-Training

Traveling Dog Trainer is a private dog training business run by Lauren, a trainer and behaviorist who has worked with dogs since 2005 and has trained hundreds of dogs from over 149 breeds. Her Loose Leash Logic method blends several training approaches, tailored to each dog's personality, and covers puppy training, basic and advanced obedience, problem solving, tricks, and the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. Lauren holds a biology degree from Texas A&M with a focus on animal behavior and learning.

Most lessons happen in the client's home, usually once a week, and sessions run about an hour. Packages are available for single dogs and for two or more dogs, with discounts for buying several lessons at once. Clients can book a phone or video consultation as well. Lessons are typically booked a couple of months out, with Tuesday nights set aside for faster scheduling for an extra fee. The business is based in the Dallas area.
