Old-world European market with house-made sausages and German fare7901 Sovereign Row, Dallas, TX
Kuby's is an old-world European market in Dallas, known for its house-made sausages, smoked meats and imported goods. The deli and grocery shelves carry family recipe sausages, chicken salad and pimento cheese, and the restaurant serves German favorites such as the Wurst Teller, schnitzel, Oma's potato pancakes and Reuben sandwiches. Karl Kuby opened the business in 1961, and the Kuby family still carries on the tradition.
The market and restaurant are on Snider Plaza, and the restaurant serves breakfast and lunch Monday through Saturday. Kuby's also processes wild game, turning game meat, fish or fowl into sausage, bacon and jerky, and its catering team puts together box lunches, deli trays and sit-down dinners for events. The market is closed on Sundays.
