Fond

Fond is a restaurant in downtown Dallas serving eclectic comfort food, with a lunch menu of daily specials, sandwiches and salads and a dinner menu of sourdough Detroit-style pizzas, seasonal shared plates, and entrees like a rotating schnitzel and roasted half chicken. The wine list is exclusively natural, featuring minimal-intervention wines from organically and biodynamically farmed grapes. The chefs, a husband-and-wife team, also host a themed tasting menu once a month called Fond AD.

Fond is at the base of the Santander Tower at 1601 Elm Street, and it is open for weekday lunch and dinner, with weekend service limited to special events. Parking is underground in the Santander Tower, with garage entrances on Elm Street and Pacific Avenue, and validation is available with a ticket. Gift cards work for in-person dining, and the restaurant takes private events and large party reservations.
