Beyond the Dog

Beyond the Dog provides private, one-on-one dog training for dogs across Dallas, from puppy basics to serious behavior concerns such as reactivity, resource guarding, fearfulness, and separation anxiety. The team also offers cat training, board and train stays, and virtual programs. Trainers spend time on the owner's handling skills during weekly sessions so the training carries over at home.

Programs are customized around each dog's routine and the owner's schedule, and sessions happen wherever daily life in Dallas takes you and your dog rather than at a single facility. Trainers hold IAABC or CCPDT certifications, and the team includes people with backgrounds in zoo work, marine mammal training, and service dog training. The business is pet-friendly.
