House of Dog Training

House of Dog Training offers positive reinforcement dog training, with classes ranging from basic obedience to fun activities like Fun-gility. Services include dayschool, a daytime board-and-train program for puppies, adolescents and adult dogs, along with overnight boarding, daytime social sessions, and programs for reactive dogs and separation anxiety. The trainers also work with rescue dogs and help owners prepare for new puppies.

Private lessons are offered at the facility in 30 or 60 minute sessions, and in-home lessons are available when a dog's behavior is tied to the home or the dog is hard to bring in. A free 15 minute phone consultation is available for owners unsure which service fits. The company serves Colorado Springs and surrounding areas, with a training center on West Fillmore Street and a boarding and behavior center on Sunflower Road. Reactive dog programs begin with an assessment appointment, and boarding requires rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella vaccinations.
