Bait House Tackle & Tavern is a waterfront seafood restaurant and tackle shop at the Clearwater Marina on Clearwater Beach. It grew out of a bait and tackle business that has sold live bait and fishing gear for generations, and the restaurant serves locally caught seafood, its well-known Drunken Shrimp, and a selection of beer and wine.
The open-air dock is a popular spot to watch charter boats come in with their catch while eating lunch or dinner. The restaurant is open daily from 11:30 am, and the tackle and gift shop keeps longer hours from 7 am. The bar serves cold drinks on the patio overlooking the intracoastal waterway.
