The Widow's Walk Ice Creamery

The Widow's Walk Ice Creamery serves hand-dipped ice cream from more than 23 flavors, along with specialty sundaes such as the Proud Mary Peanut Butter Cup Sundae, which comes with warm brownies, hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts and a cherry. Traditional banana splits, floats, milk shakes, malts, smoothies and cones in cake, waffle or waffle bowl form are also on the menu.

The shop is on the Ohio River along the Ohio River Greenway, across the street from Ashland Park, with a view of the Louisville skyline. Service is walk-up window service at the back of the house, offered all year weather permitting. Picnic tables, benches, public restrooms and a playground are nearby, and dogs can get a pup cup.
