Flora Chicago

Flora Chicago is a woman-owned flower shop on the North Side that designs seasonal arrangements for birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, thank-yous and just because. Its designs favor seasonal blooms such as peonies, ranunculus, garden roses, cosmos and tulips, and the shop also does wedding flowers, private and corporate event flowers, and flower subscriptions. Potted orchids and plants, and a cat-friendly vase arrangement, are part of the lineup.

Flora offers same-day delivery and next-day delivery, and digital gift cards are sent by email. The shop serves the Southport Corridor, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Lincoln Square, Andersonville, Wrigleyville, Downtown and nearby suburbs such as Evanston and Oak Park. It is at 2835 N. Southport Ave, and the owner, Kate Prince, works in the shop's design approach of skipping floral foam and composting where possible.
